Four Stamford Public School Teams will Compete in the 2018 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals

Working through the Stamford Public Education Foundation, over 100 Stamford students and over 55 community volunteers participated in the Connecticut State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament at Southern Connecticut State University on March 17. Fourteen Stamford teams competed against 175 teams from across the state, with four teams earning Silver or Gold in their respective divisions and problems and an invitation to the 2018 World Finals.

Competing on a global level against over 825 teams from across the US and other countries could be a life changing experience! Please consider making a donation to support our program! Every dollar brings us one step closer to achieving their dream.

This year, our students will travel to Iowa State University, where they will join over 5,500 international competitors for a week of activities including competition, STEAM experiences and activities with NASA scientists.
