[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the summer of 2020, the Stamford Public Education Foundation is excited to launch our Pathways program.  Pathways is a new, free program that helps to establish a career or military transition program, staffed with a professional coordinator who will provide group and individualized support to students completing grade 12 and beyond. This new program is for Stamford Public Schools’ students who have indicated they are interested in following a vocational, technical, or military career, or have not yet identified a college or career track when graduating from high school.

Staffed by dedicated program coordinators, each student works with a resource specialist/counselor who follows along and supports them to reach their goals. Potential tracks include various career and/or military options including learning vocational or technical trades; providing high school graduates with support to learn a specific trade, take exams related to a potential career, or engage in additional education to help them achieve their desired career. Each student must commit to monthly professional development as well as bi-weekly one-on-one counseling sessions. Every student will also receive an annual stipend of $1,000 to cover the expenses of school and/or career related costs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”6470″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”6471″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
